4 weeks, it’s been that long already? Wow, time really has flown (excuse the pun). Well what can I say, the deep void of space is truly the most beautiful, yet terrifying thing imaginable, from the bright glow of the core shining in the distance, to the vibrant colours of nebulae, you never tire of seeing this; yet I can’t help but feel nervous, like something out there is waiting for us, and we cannot comprehend what it is, which is what makes it so ominous, the logs we found on the Zurara only increased my fear. Funny things, our brains, that when we can’t imagine what something is they create this image of something so terrible that our primal fears kick in and adrenaline shoots around your body, leaving you in a cold sweat at night when your alone with your thoughts. I’m likely just procrastinating over nothing, but what if I’m not? Then I ask, what is it, where is it, and what does it want? We can only guess for now.
Anyway, WP3 has been ticked off and we are making good progress, all systems are nominal and the crew are happy, and our search for ELWs has proven fruitful so far, let’s see what this next leg of the journey brings!
